Marianne and Dan's Wedding

Gift Registry

We are truly honored - or honoured (depending on whether you are family and friends inside or outside the USA) that you are joining our wedding celebrations. We can't wait for the afternoon of August 9th 2008 and we are thrilled that many of you plan to be there with us.

As you know, we are not "spring chickens" and we have been sharing our lives for quite a while. We have a lovely house and garden and are fortunate to have most of the things that we need for everyday living. However our sitting room, dining room and bedroom are all furnished sparsely - and most of what they contain are "legacy" items from college day shopping expeditions to Ikea, various "going out of business" furniture sales and/or our respective "first job" days.

So, as we embark upon our married life together, our dream is to be able to decorate and furnish those rooms properly.

We are extremely grateful to our friend, Susan Sawasy, and her team at Casawasy in South Pasadena (www.casawasy.com). This incredibly talented group of people is helping us to determine what is most sensible - saving any current items that are appropriate and replacing others with new pieces that will last at least as long as the ones that they are displacing!

If you would like to help us to accomplish these projects, please follow the directions below and either:

  1. Use the options on this website to make a secure contribution towards one of the Registry items on-line using PayPal or your Credit Card. (This approach will forward your gift directly to the Casawasy team and supplement our fund there) - OR -
  2. Send an email to Wallace@casawasy.com or call Wallace directly at (1) (626) 799-7755 for further directions if you prefer to deal directly with a person.

We thank you so much for your consideration and your kindness. We are touched and humbled by the outpouring of love and happiness that we have received from our family and friends since we let people know that we have decided to get married.

Marianne xx and Dan.
