We have glasses and bedding and towels of blue
the dishes, a toaster and a blender too.
So what do you give a Bride & Groom
Whose home is filled in every room?
We need a new roof and a new floor too,
But we can’t find a registery for shingles and glue.
So if you would like to give us a gift,
A donation of money would give us a lift.
And once we've replaced the old with the new,
We can look back and say it was all thanks to you
Welcome to our gift registry! Being that we are already living together, Bob and I wanted to create a registry that was both unique and useful to us.
This approach is used by many modern brides and grooms as a way to simplify "gift giving" for local guests and those who are traveling.
No gift wrapping, no lugging gifts around!
We simply list the items that we would like and you contribute the amount you feel comfortable with (even if it does not fully cover the cost of the item).
This allows couples who already have the basics, the opportunity to purchase larger items that are not "traditional" wedding gifts but may be needed by the couple.
Bob and I are both practical people. We know that this strays from traditional gift giving.
Bob and I would like to stress that your presense in our lives, your prayers for our marriage to be blessed and your attendance at the wedding are the most important gift that you could give us.

Most importantly, we can't wait to see everyone at the wedding!
